Apollo Pharmacy Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30
Enough with oriflame, now I’m going to review a not-so-popular skincare product. I’m having an extremely oily and sensitive skin. It gets tanned up easily during my outing in the sun. I’ve so far used various sunscreen lotions of various brands. But still in search of that lotion about which I’ll feel as if this product has been specially made for me. But most of the products comes out giving me an oily finish that doesn’t at all look good on me. My product for now is Apollo Pharmacy Sunscreen Lotion with SPF30.
What does Apollo Claim about this product:
Apollo Pharmacy Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 provides protection against UVA & UVB rays. Specially formulated to protect your skin from premature ageing, tanning and other harmful effects of the sun.
Apollo Pharmacy Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 is a creamy lotion, a bit heavy compared to the regular market available lotions. The blend is off-white in color and is having a calamine-type fragrance. The fragrance is actually weird and I didn’t get any better smell that similes the same. This sunscreen lotion comes in an orange colored flip-capped plastic bottle.

My experience with Apollo Pharmacy Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30:
Now it’s the time to write on my experience with Apollo Pharmacy Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30. Huffff..!!! I don’t really find a reason why amongst hell lot of brands I had to choose my sunscreen lotion from the house of Apollo. From the very first use I’ve hated this product. I have an extremeeeelyyyyy oily skin. A little oiled up face is good, but if the limit exceeds, it becomes the reason of having an unpleasant glow on my skin, makes me look darker. The moisturizer is too heavy in consistency and even with a coinsize amount, it makes my face feel really heavy and sweaty. Dry skinned beauties still can give it a try I guess. I don’t understand why they had to claim that they’ve made this product for all skin types, in fact it’s strictly for dry skin holders. I didn’t also like the smell, it’s a bit medicinal.
- Good for those having extremely chapped up skin
- Contains vitamin E
- Price is quite affordable
- I can still apply it on my nude hands while stepping out in the sun
- Scroll up a bit and you’ll see the longgggg list of ingredients, most of them are chemical. I don’t think such a long list of chemical ingredients is a good thing to have in our daily sunscreen lotion.
- It’s too oily and thus not suitable for normal to oily skinned beauties.
- After-use effect isn’t too pleasant, feels too heavy and sweaty.
- Fragrance is overpowering.
- Contains paraben, a chemical product that can even cause carcinoma for skin.
- It isn’t water-proof.
I’m not gonna recommend this product for normal-oily skinned ladies. Dry skinned ones can still try your luck on it. It can still be effective if you use it on your open skin except face, eg. Hands, Neck, Nude Legs.
