Artistry Advanced Softening Toner by Amway Review
Today I am going to review Artistry Advanced Softening Toner by Amway. I did not buy it myself but I took it off my mum’s collection to try out. I have been bowled over by the artistry advertisements in the mainstream media that made me sideline my usual toner for some weeks now and instead try this one out. I had never used Amway products before this one and frankly did not know what to expect out of it. I have been using this softening toner for over 3 weeks now and let see how the results have been, shall we?
Before I proceed with the review, you can take a look at my recent review of Marks and Spencer Blissful Strawberry Moisturizing Hand and Body Lotion right here.
This gentle toner smoothes and tones your skin preparing it for your treatment products in case you are using any. It supposedly seals in the skin’s natural moisture. It contains Japanese Lilyturf, an ingredient that helps tighten the skin junction and maintain optimum levels of moisture. The tight junction minimises the space between the cells of the skin and prevents the moisture from escaping.
Direction for Use
It should only be used 2 times a day. After washing your face and patting it dry, take a cotton ball or pad and pour some of the toner it in and gently dab it on to your skin. You can also take this toner in your palm and gently tap it in your skin with the tip of your fingers.
The shelf life of the product is 3 years if unopened. Once it is opened, it has a shelf life of 12 months.
Price & Quantity
$41.40 for 200ml. Availability in India is a big problem.
Not mentioned but since I have sensitive skin, it didn’t cause much irritation or break-outs.
It comes in a beautiful beige coloured cylindrical bottle and a silver plastic screw on cap. The writing is in gold and dark brown making the bottle even prettier.
The product is liquid-y, lightweight and milky. The fragrance is very refreshing and mildly citrusy which is not overpowering and feels great on the skin. Skin feels instantly hydrated, soft and smooth. It gets absorbed really quickly and leaves its soothing fragrance on a very subtle tone.

My Experience with Artistry Advanced Softening Toner by Amway
I have used this product for a few weeks now and there has been no visible change. It doesn’t lock in moisture nor does it tone my skin. It gets absorbed really quickly and it is a bit refreshing but other than that, it didn’t make any difference. Also, if the weather is a bit on the humid side, it leaves the skin sticky and blotchy. On the other hand, on drier days, it does not help with retaining the moisture. It seems its fine only for mild and constant climates.
Whether I would recommend this product again:
No, I will not recommend this product. There are various toners available from various brands who promise and offer much more and are available at reasonable prices. This toner hardly did anything. The packaging however, is really beautiful and sophisticated and the quantity of the product is really nice.
