Avon Naturals Instant Oil control Gel Lotion Review

Hope all of you are doing well and having a great Thursday. Here I am going to review Avon Naturals Instant Oil Control Gel Lotion.  Recently I found that my ten years old best friend, who once upon a time cried like hell for treating her acne, has got rid of them. When I asked her about the fact, then she told me about this product. I too have an oily skin like her but never cared about my acne so much. But, as I saw her face this time, I changed my thoughts. I thought to give it a try.

When I first saw the product, the packaging fascinated me. It comes in a white and light green plastic bottle, enclosed with a flip cap. I bought it from the market and while doing so, I noticed that the product contains tea tree, about which I heard that it is an excellent treatment for acne A study has foul tea tree extracts to be similarly effective as is benzoyl peroxide But the good fact is that the tea tree extracts do not have side effects like peeling and redness, which is often observed after using the other one.

It also prevents our skin form infection, heals quickly and treats minor wounds. And I also preferred it because it was a gel lotion as once when I was going through a review of some other products; I found that gel is more suitable than any lotion for the oily skinned people. Creams and lotions are actually not preferred for oily skins as their emollient base makes them less penetrating than gels. The cream vehicle can be problematic for people having acne prone or finicky skin. However, if we say about gels, they are less emollient and therefore do not clog pores, which can be a life saver for those with congested and clog-prone skin.

After cleansing and toning, the gel should be applied all over the face and neck both during day and night. It is also dermatologically tested.

The product contains glycerine, ethyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, water, propylene glycol,ethoxydigycol,PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor oil, Dipropylene Glycol, Hydroxethylcellulose, Alcohol Content 9.49 % v/v ( with 1% Diethylpthalate), Oleanolic Acid, Carbomer Nordihydroguaiaretic Acid, Vitis Vinifera ( Grapes) Seed Extract, sunflower seed Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia ( Tea Tree) extract, Fruit Extract, Citrus Grandis(Grapefruit), Hydroxethylcellulose.

Pros

The product is a liquid gel, which is enriched with natural tea extracts that helps in oil control of the skin. The product hydrates the skin, softens it along with improving the skin clarity and suppleness, so that the skin looks naturally refreshed, healthy and clean.

Cons

The liquid inside the bottle is not bulky. Instead it is a watery gel.  The skin does not absorb it readily and it gives you a sticky feeling and thus, dust and other particles are invited. I had very high expectations from this very product but all were washed off due to the disadvantage. And finally, it does not fulfill my high expectations. And thus I recommend you not to buy this product.
