AYUR HERBAL SKIN TONER

Hola beauties : )

Taking a very good care of skin is not among my daily care regime. What I basically try to is keeping my skin clean. But as an oily skin holder, it’s quite tough to keep it clean and matt all day long. But I try as much I can. Cleansing up the skin is a very essential part of my daily skincare. But the thing that every oily skinned ladies need to do is toning up facial skin. I’ve been using Ayur Herbal Skin Toner since quite a few years. So I thought of writing up my experiences regarding this product before it poofs off lol.

Why Toning up the skin?

Toning up the skin is a very essential part of a healthy skin care regime. Toner comes in different forms of cream, lotion or watery liquid. The basic function of a toner includes cleansing up skin, firming it up and shrinking the skin pores. It works on nicely removing the dirt from the outer skin. It also balances the skin’s pH level.

Why Ayur?

Ayur is a very well known Indian brand, widely popularizing its wide range of herbal products. The best thing about Ayur is, it only deals with herbal ingredients that suit almost all skin types.

What it claims:

Ayur skin toner is a herbal preparation which:

  • Contains Aloe Vera, rose water and natural moisturizers.
  • Safeguards the skin against acne, atmospheric microbes and harsh effects of the sunrays.
  • Reduces the pore size temporarily, tightens the skin muscles which makes your skin feel refreshed and invigorated.

Ayur Herbal Skin Toner

Ayur Herbal Skin Toner is formulated with various natural ingredients that make it safe and side effect free for almost all skin types. It comes in a pink capped white plastic container and the toner is watery in consistency and light pink in color.

The fragrance of this Ayur Herbal Skin Toner is a bit medicinal that I don’t like. You’ll get a peculiar menthol smell out of it.

 Price: 45INR for a 100ml bottle.

Shelf Life:  3 years from the day of packaging

How to use it:

Well no instructions can be found of the bottle of the toner itself. But the general usage of a toner is after cleansing up the face with some foamy lather. After that a small amount of toner is to be taken on a cotton ball and applied on dried up face. After it gets completely absorbed in the skin, a moisturizer should be applied on.

My take on Ayur Herbal Skin Toner:

I’ve been using this product since quite a few years and I’m quite happy with the same. Beauties having a normal to oily skin must give it a try I would say. It makes me feel oil-free for a few hours. So it’s quite good if applied before a party makeup or something where you need to look oil-free for hours. I would like to directly talk about its pros and cons.
