John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Touch up Creme Review
Today I am going to review John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Touch up Creme which I bought after I had tried and liked the John Frieda Curl Reviver Mousse. My sister had initially suggested it to me as she had found it quite useful and handy. Soon, I developed a love-hate relationship with this product.
Before I get on with the review, you can read my review on The Body Shop Amazon Wild Lily Body Lotion here.
It claims to transform frizzy hair into fabulous tresses by instantly smoothening the hair and by making the frizzy disappear and leaves the hair looking flawless and shiny. It can be used anytime and anywhere. It also has UV filters which helps protect the hair from the heat of the sun and seals the hair to diminish frizz and flyways.
Direction for Use:
Take a small amount of the cream in your palms and rub it and then quickly apply it on dried hair. Concentrate towards the ends and work upwards while pulling through the tangles. When applying to wet hair, use a towel to soak up excess water and apply to mildly damp hair.
Not mentioned on the product. It can be considered between 12 to 24 months just to be safe as is the case with general hair products like this one.
Price & Quantity
It costs INR 450 for 113g and the product can be purchased from Flipkart.com
Skin / Hair Type
It is suitable for all hair types.
The product comes in a light coloured tube with black and purple text and a flip open squeeze out cap at the bottom and looks sophisticated and chic.
The colour of this crème is white and its texture is light and watery making it easy to spread along the tresses. It is like a serum only much lighter and non-greasy and makes the hair nice and soft. It has an aromatic floral fragrance which is strong but not overpowering and it lingers on the hair for many hours.

My Experience with John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Touch up Creme
I have tried using this product two ways; on dry hair and on wet hair. I found that the crème worked better on wet hair for me as I have very frizzy hair and it locks in the moisture. When I used it on my dry hair, it felt a bit sticky and it weighed my hair down. After a few hours my frizz returns and leaves my hair extremely tangled and greasy and I need to shampoo my hair as soon as I can. However, when I used it on wet hair, it kept the frizz at bay for several hours. It did not feel as sticky or greasy as it had on my dry hair. Ever since then, I have been using this product on wet hair for better results.
3/5 (seems like this product isn’t meant for tropical and humid weather)
Whether I would recommend this product again:
There are much better products available which provide better frizz control for both dry and wet hair. You can give this product a try if you wish but I wouldn’t strongly recommend it.
