Cons of Lakme 9 to 5 matte lipstick in red coat:
- The shade may be very bold for a few ladies
- Tends to dry a little after few hours
My experience with Lakme 9 to 5 matte lipstick in red coat:
Ever since I bought this lipstick, I’m in love with it. It brightens my face instantly with its classic color. It’s bold and sensuous. Red coat is a warm red shade. I can wear it for any occasion say for example for my presentation or at work or for a movie date or just a casual day out. It’s lightweight and isn’t very drying initially. Though, it can get a little drying after a few hours.
The stay power of this lipstick is quite appreciable for it stays on for around 5-6 hours. It also survives light meals and drinks. Once it starts wearing off, it leaves behind a nice light red tint which is beautiful too. Although, a makeup remover is needed to get the lipstick off at the end of the day; only water wouldn’t do any good.
This lipstick can at times settle into fine lines if proper exfoliation isn’t done. But there’s nothing that a lip balm can’t fix. It doesn’t give any particular smell that can be bothering. Its claim of being transfer proof stands true. Also, the color pigmentation is very nice as can be seen in the picture.
I would rate this lipstick 9 out of 10.
Whether I would recommend this product:
Yes, definitely. All you ladies who love warm red lipsticks, this is going to be your perfect match. Also, the ladies who are new to red lipsticks should start with this, as it’s not very expensive and is versatile for use in any occasion. It’s a flattering shade and does justice to the price it is offered at.
