How is Monday blues treating you beauties? I am over loaded with work today but I prefer penning down this review instead. Bringing you a review from yet another brand that isn’t covered on makeupera so far. Today I am reviewing a lipstick from Palladio (yes, I own these many lipsticks).
Palladio is a renowned brand for its line of color cosmetics enriched with herbs and vitamins. Palladio will help you look radiant while protecting your skin from the signs of aging. With a diverse selection of shades and product availability, Palladio will allow you to create the variety of looks you fantasize. Palladio is a fun, pretty and exciting brand. Let’s see how well its lipstick turns out to be.
Product price and quantity:
INR 550 for 3.8 g
Palladio Be Chic lipstick comes in a black sturdy case. At the bottom of the lipstick is given the shade identification and at the extreme top is mentioned the shade code and name and the quantity of the lipstick. Be Chic is printed on the cap in silver lettering. What confused me was that there is no mention of the brand name. It seemed weird to me because no product comes without the mention of its brand house. The cap doesn’t shut with a click and is a little loose which doesn’t make it travel safe.
The texture is not very silky but smooth enough to glide effortlessly on the lips. It has a shimmery, glossy finish to it and smells typically like the old lipsticks did. The color pay off is commendable though.
Pros of Palladio Be Chic Merlot lipstick:
- Beautiful shade for women in the age group of 30-45
- Glides effortlessly
- Doesn’t transfer much
- Highly pigmented
- Color identification given at the bottom area of the lipstick case
- Fine glossy finish
- 33 shades available
- Doesn’t bleed
- Wears off easily with normal makeup removers
Cons of Palladio Be Chic Merlot lipstick:
- Not easily available
- Dark maroon shade, wont suit young girls
- Not very travel safe
- A little pricey
- Not much information is mentioned on the packaging
- Feels a little drying
My experience with Palladio Be Chic Merlot lipstick:
Palladio brand was first introduced to me by our very dear Fabbag. It’s not a very high-end brand and so I wasn’t really expecting a lot from it. The packaging is a little weird for the fact that nowhere on the lipstick packaging is it mentioned that it’s from the brand Palladio. Not much information is provided on the packaging.
The textures isn’t very silky smooth but creamy enough to glide effortlessly over the lips. Merlot is a dark maroon shade which I consider makes one look mature and so I suggest this shade to ladies above 30 years. No doubt the shade is sensuous and pretty.
Palladio lipstick stays on for around 4-5 hours and transfers with heavy meals. However, be rest assured that it won’t bleed. The removal of this lipstick is pretty mess-free. It wears off with our normal makeup removers. After 2-3 hours of application, it feels a bit drying on the lips and multiple applications will feel cakey and heavy on lips.
Overall it’s a pretty shade and will suit middle aged ladies well.
I will rate this lipstick 7 out of 10
Will I recommend it again?
Yes, I do recommend this shade to ladies above 30 years of age. It’s a sexy mature shade.
