REVIEW: Pond’s White Beauty BB+ Fairness Cream
In my last blog I concentrated on hair problems and solutions, so I thought that this blog should be on some skinny product. So I picked up one and started a proper research for it, after all a good write up takes birth in the hands of a good researcher. My product for now is POND’S WHITE BEAUTY BB+ FAIRNESS CREAM. I’ve been using this product for quite sometimes, and finally when I got a place to share my experience with it, I’m here . Well the funny thing about it is I got this idea in my mind when the cream is almost going to finish so I had to puff up the tube a bit to get perfect images LOL. Being an extreme oily skin holder, I was still in search of a facial cream that will be best suited for my skin. I’ve tried zillions of market available skin creams but each of them got me a sticky cheek which I don’t like at all. I bought this product just to have a try, well this try also ended up being the same. But the good thing about it is in spite of making my skin oily, it doesn’t get me a pale complexion that most of the other skin creams do. I liked the cream because it levels up my complexion and the oiliness caused by it doesn’t look too bad on me.
About This Product:
BB cream had already been launched in foreign markets years ago. Pond’s being one of the leading cosmetic brands in India, was among the pioneers to launch the same for the Indian consumers. It’s being basically a tinted moisturizer with the benefits of sun protection. BB+ is generally known as Blemish Balm and it really works concealing blemishes, at least for a few hours. It’s been blended up with active ingredients that provide the consumers with GenWhite™ Cover Formula that claims to lighten up the skin tone and is formulated with SPF 30 PA++. It claims to be clinically proved to get one an even skin tone and is effective reducing dark spots. And yes, the outer carton is quite cute indeed 😛
Pond’s White Beauty BB+ fairness cream is effectively formulated with various skin friendly ingredients.
Vitamin B3, that’s been known for being Pond’s signature ingredient. It helps reducing dark spots and patches, controlling melanin accumulation.
Vitamin E that concentrates on neutralizing the harmful effects of free radicals, resulting in a less darker skin.
Sun Protection Formula 30 PA++ protects skin from getting tanned up.
Price: One will need to spend only Rs. 125 to get an 18g pack of Pond’s White Beauty BB+ fairness cream.
What Does It Contain??
How To Use It:
Apply It on Cleansed skin. A few drops first and then smudge it by fingertips. Blend it properly to get a lightened up, blemish free, even toned skin. Oily skinned beauties should follow it with a puff of some skin powder.
My Take on Pond’s White Beauty BB+ Cream:
This skin moisturizer has a little thick consistency but it doesn’t feel heavy though, blends up nicely on my skin. There’s one problem with it, the cream comes in just a single shade, one for all. The silver capped squeeze bottle makes it easy to use. Beauties with medium complexion can get amazing benefits with this wonder blend. Dry skin holders can use it with a light moisturizer as a base while oily skinned ones can use it followed up by a powdered puff. It stays on the skin for quite a few hours and that’s impressive, although it depends of the skin type.
Things that I liked about the product:
- Brighten up the skin tone
- Blends up easily
- Very affordable
- Gives an even skin tone
Things that I didn’t like about the product:
- Comes in a single shade
- An application of skin powder is required for oily skin holders
- Doesn’t completely conceals blemishes
Keeping in mind all the pros and cons of the product, I’d like to give it a rate of 8 out of 10. I wouldn’t recommend it to beauties with a excessive oily skin but I would highly recommend Pond’s white beauty bb+ fairness cream to normal skinned beauties as a daily wear tint moisturizer Go Grab It <3
