The Body Shop Colourglide lipstick

Hello my beauties,

We all know the importance of having a good lip colour. I have been on a quest to find the perfect lip colour and it led me to The Body Shop colourglide lipstick. This is a pretty good lipstick. It comes in a wide range of colours to choose from. The lipstick is very moisturizing but not too pigmented. I have been using the body shop colourglide lipstick for a year now and I find myself going back to purchase more. The colour I am currently using is #14 pink ginger. This is a wonderful pink colour that works very well on Indian skin tones.

The body shop colourglide lipstick has a moisturizing texture and glides on quite well. The lipstick is available in 24 shades in India. The colours range from day wear to pop tints. The liptick is very easy to use, just open, rotate and the base to reveal the desired amount of product and then fill in your lips. Make sure not to open up too much of the product as it can break while you are filling in your lips.

The body shop colourglide lipstick is priced at Rs.575 for 4 gms. The lipstick has a shelf life of is 1 year from the date of manufacture.

The lipstick comes in a metallic silver tube, which is eye catching and perfect size for putting into a makeup bag. The lipstick comes in a very convenient size and the cylindrical shape ensures that you can carry it around everywhere you go.

The body shop colourglide lipstick has a velvety smooth texture. It has a certain rose like scent that doesn’t last too long. The colour itself is not highly pigmented. You will need to go over your lips a few times to get a dark colour. The colour is a little disappointing in terms of staying power, it wipes off in a couple of hours. I use it with a lip gloss in attempts of increasing the staying power and this seems to work for me.

The lipstick should be used over moisturized lips as it can leave you feeling chapped if you use it directly on your lips without moisturizing.

Will I recommend Body shop colourglide lipstick?

The lipstick has a short staying power but it comes in a wide range of colours. The colour can be mixed with other products to lengthen the staying power. For this, I will recommend the lipstick.
