As some of us shun carbohydrates in all their forms, be in diet or a snack like a bag of potato chips, the common source of nutrition loses its allure in our lives. But do you know that potatoes have a lot of other qualities that make it a very nice addition to our skin care routine?

Potatoes contain vitamins like B6 and C. It also contains minerals like Potassium. It is high in starch content that in itself is very helpful for certain skin conditions.

Also, the fact remains that potato is not really a vegetable or a fruit, it is an underground plant part that like many others are used by the plant to store its extra food and hence used by us as a main source of energy.
