TOP Face Masks Using Milk
We have been drinking milk all throughout our childhood to help us grow properly and become stronger by the day. Milk is a rich source of calcium which helps keep the bones healthy by promoting its growth and strength. Not just in children, but in adults as well. With time our bones and teeth become weak and brittle to avoid any quick fractures calcium is needed in a large amount and milk has that in abundance. It is also a very healthy snack! Drinking skimmed milk helps lose more weight. A glass of warm milk before going to bed at night soothes and relaxes the body and we fall asleep more comfortably. Milk helps recover all lost energy and builds muscles. We all know how wonderful milk is for our body. We know of its various properties. But did you know that using milk as a face mask is an extra bonus for the skin? Milk helps in skin repair and keeps may skin care related problems at bay. Here are few very simple, quick DIY face masks using milk!

Raw Milk, Turmeric and Gram Flour Face Mask:
If you want to get rid of acne and blemishes, this is the face mask for you. This will not only cleanse your face, but it will go deep and pull out all the excess oil and impurities from the skin making it fairer and healthier. To make this, you will need:
- Few pinches of turmeric
- 2 tablespoon of gram flour
In a container, mix gram flour and turmeric and add milk to it until the consistency is suitable for you.
After washing your face and patting it dry, evenly apply this on your face, neck and throat and leave it on for 20-30 minutes. Wash off with cold or lukewarm water.
Oatmeal and Milk Face Mask:
This mask helps bring back skin’s natural glow and youthfulness. If applying it 3 times a week, you’ll see a visible difference in your skin. To make this, you will require:
Soak oatmeal overnight in milk and pour honey into the mixture the next day. Dilute the thick and rich consistency with some water.
Apply it on clean skin and leave it on for 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. Skin will be very supple and glowing.
Banana and Milk Mask:
Banana has high moisturizing properties so this pack is wonderful for people with dry skin. It will bring back life to the skin and your skin will look fresh, hydrated and moisturized. To make this, you will be requiring:
- 1 whole ripe banana
In a bowl, mash one whole ripe banana and add a teaspoon of honey in it and mix. When the mixture is properly blended together, add 1 tablespoon of milk and mix it again.
Make sure your skin is clean before you apply this evenly on to your skin. Leave it on for 20 minutes then wash off with water of your choice. You will see visible difference just by using this pack once!
Besides using milk in facial packs, you can also use raw milk as a cleanser. All you have to do is dip a clean cotton ball in milk and gently glide it on skin leave it on for 10 minutes then wash off with water. It replaces all the cleansers in the market and it is 100% natural and healthy. Skin will feel and look nourished, hydrated and happy.
