Imagine my curiosity when I came across this unique shower gel “ VLCC Shape Up Body Firming Shower Gel ” that promises to firm up your body. I mean whoever thought that looking like a model would be as easy as showering with a specific gel of some kind? And if it does do that, why haven’t we heard of this before?

I felt like Sherlock as I went about doing this piece of research

My Experience

The gel peach in colour and has intermittent fine granules, which are responsible for a nice scrubbing action. A strong fruity balm permeates your senses, engulfing you in the comfort of all things nice for the next few hours. Works up a nice foamy lather, like any shower gel should do. Nothing extraordinary!

If by tightening of skin VLCC meant a constant feeling of dryness, then they have delivered and delivered well in that regard. It is excellent as a body scrub and shower gel, but at its price, is not worth it. However, they do provide a loofah with the pack, almost like a little placating gift, an apology for duping us in that regard.

  • Sturdy packaging, travel friendly and all.
  • Free loofah provided with the pack.
  • Excellent as a body scrub and shower gel
  • Sweet smelling fragrance.

  • Dries up skin and reduces moisture.
  • Provides no firming whatsoever, totally opposite to its claims.
  • Expensive for a bath gel.

Will I use it again?

Yeah right. I just used this out of curiosity, and what an utter waste of money it was. Seriously, if you want to firm or tone your skin does some aerobics or cardio. No shower gel can help you do that.

Take care!!
