Avene Eau Thermale Very High Protection Emulsion SPF 50+ Review
If somebody asked me about one skin care tip that is an absolute essential apart from cleansing, toning and moisturizing is.” Not skipping your sunscreen at all”. The reason being the ultra violet radiation from the sun causes utter damage to your skin at surface and cellular level. This damage then manifests itself as sun spots, skin darkening, fine lines, wrinkles and patchy complexion. So, I am very careful to slather on some good quality sunscreen all the exposed parts of body nearly 15 Minutes before stepping out into the sun. Sunscreen acts as a shield between the sun rays and your skin to help in blocking the UV rays from damaging your skin and also preventing tanning. My latest purchase is Avene Eau Thermale Very High Protection Emulsion SPF 50+. The high SPF factor itself was motivation enough for me to buy the sunscreen.
The Very High Protection Emulsion SPF50+ is specially formulated for hypersensitive skin, light and very fair skin; skin prone to sunburn and skin exposed to extreme sunlight. It covers a very broad spectrum UV protection using a combination of exclusive active ingredients.

My experience with Avene Eau Thermale Very High Protection Emulsion SPF 50+
I have been using this sunscreen for nearly two to three weeks. I use it as a moisturizer after I am done with the cleansing part. This works good under makeup too. It hydrates and moisturizes skin so. Normal to dry skinned ladies can use it without hesitation. Oily skinned ladies might need to blot once before doing makeup. It does prevent tanning very effectively. I reapply it every hour or so, if I am outdoors. It is rich in antioxidants and hence, good for overall texture & has anti-ageing properties. It is essentially free of harmful parabens and silicons so, good for sensitive skin types. One of the best things is that it does not leave behind a whitish cast which even neutrogena sunscreen does… so, this is a major plus point!!
Though, I am not very sure how the oily skin varieties will respond to this sunscreen. The quantity does not justify the insanely high price.

Whether I would recommend this product again?
Overall, I would have surely repurchased this sunscreen if it were not so highly priced as it prevents tanning and sunburn very effectively. However, I cannot afford to fetch out so much money every time I run out of a sunscreen lotion.. Which is quite often..
