How are you all? Today I am going to talk to you about the uses and benefits of an easily available kitchen ingredient, baking soda. Baking soda sure does help us bake that perfect yummy cakes and cup cakes but did you guys know that baking soda can be used in a lot of ways to improve our beauty?
Well if not, this is the perfect post for you all to read today. Originally known as Sodium Bicarbonate, it’s available easily and at a very pocket friendly price at almost all grocery shops. It can clean, brighten, whiten and most importantly eradicate acne from the face. There are numerous uses of baking soda which I will be discussing with you guys below. First and foremost let me start with its amazing benefit of teeth whitening. This is a very commonly known benefit of baking soda. Sodium bicarbonate helps to whiten the pale teeth’s. Add a few drops of lemon juice to baking soda and brush with this mixture or you can add salt to baking soda and rub the mixture on the teeth to get beautiful white teeth. You no more have to splurge all your savings in buying the expensive dry shampoos from the market; a pack of baking soda can do the job just as well. Baking soda when mixed with apple cider vinegar acts as an excellent skin exfoliater. It also will tighten the pores and skin and result in brighter and even skin tone over its use for a longer time span.
Baking soda is alkaline in form and is very effective to treat acne. It is anti-bacterial and can be used as an anti-acne mask. Mix a little baking soda with water and apply this mixture on the acne and let it dry for around 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse later.
