Bio Glow Walnut and Grape Face Scrub Review
I am back again with a product review. Recently I have been engaged in trying out a lot of skin care products due to the obvious reasons of winter being the weather. It’s not that I am losing interest in cosmetics or anything but I am more into skin care range now. So today too I am going to review a skin care product.
There are three important steps in skin care ritual: cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize. I have reviewed a few cleansers like Patanjali lemon honey face wash and Acmed face wash. Also I have previously reviewed moisturizers like Votre day moisturizing gel. So today I am going to review a scrub for you all. Exfoliation of skin is a very important step. Exfoliation means removing the dead cells from the skins upper most layer by scrubbing. It’s important to remove impurities that settle on the skin due to pollution. Scrubbing once a week is recommendable with a light hand to keep the skin healthy and glowing. Today I am reviewing a scrub from bio glow. There are around 4 to 5 variants available in the scrub under this brand. I had picked up walnut and grape variant a year back from a store in Mumbai. So read on to know how it fared on me.
Bio Glow walnut and grape scrub claims to exfoliate dead skin. Grape extract smoothens the skin while primrose oil provides intensive moisture to skin. It also contains rosemary extracts which rejuvenates the skin.
Product price and quantity:
Rs 200 for 500 ml (300+200)
The scrub comes in a fat cylindrical transparent container of plastic. It has a white screw cap with pink stickers all around the container containing product information. The packaging is very inconvenient and unhygienic as there is no spoon included to pick up the product.
The texture is a little runny for a scrub. It has minute granules which help in scrubbing and exfoliating the skin. The particles are fine and not very harsh on skin, however one has to be gentle while scrubbing to avoid getting rashes.
Check the below picture for complete list of ingredients.

- The packaging is not very convenient and travel friendly
My experience with Bio glow walnut and grape face scrub:
Truly speaking I am already tired using this product. I mean it’s a good product and all, but the quantity is so much that anybody will get bored using it for so long. As only a coin sized quantity is required to scrub the face and so this scrub will last almost a year or so.
Also this brand isn’t a popular one. I was told by the salesperson that this is an imported product. I merely bought it due to its superb smell and for its dirt cheap price tag. My skin is normal type and I did not find this scrub drying or anything. Infact it is quite moisturizing and makes the skin soft and refreshed. The major drawback of this product is its availability. I am not sure where you will find this brand.
Overall it’s a nice scrub to try at dirt cheap price.
I will rate this face scrub 8 out of 10
Will I recommend this scrub again?
Yes , you can try..!!
