Bourjois Powder Compact Review
Today I am going to review Bourjois Powder Compact which is what I generally use to set my make-up. I love using a compact powder on its own as well but I find they provide much more coverage as a setting powder. Over the years I have used many compact powders from various brands. Since Bourjois is one of my favourite make-up brand, I was very anxious to purchase a compact from them. Let’s see how it turned out!

It comes in a stylishly decorated case which is a must have partner for your complexion and handbag. It will provide perfect hold for your make-up thanks to its soft texture and puff applicator.
Direction for Use
Take the puff applicator and rub it across the powder and then glide it on your face, on top of your make-up or just by itself. Keep on applying until desired coverage comes through. Make sure you do the same in a well lit area to avoid over application or under-application.

Price & Quantity
Costs INR for 9.5g. It is available at all Bourjois outlets at all major stores.
I have sensitive skin and it suited me so I suppose it is safe to say that it is suitable for sensitive skin. Patch test however is preferable.
The powder is inside a black plastic case with light pink intricate floral designs on top. The case itself is very pretty and will look stunning in your vanity kit or handbag. It is a snap-close case, which is tight and sturdy, hence travel friendly. Inside the case, there is a mirror attached under the lid which is quite big and clear. The powder is concealed under the soft white puff.
The powder is very finely milled but is talc-ish. It is not at all creamy hence it doesn’t properly set into the skin. It provides a very lovely matte effect but it has a very low staying power. It has a sweet talc fragrance. The puff has a velvety silken texture which feels wonderfully soft on the skin.

My Experience with Bourjois Powder Compact
As a setting powder, it works fine but only for some time. After an hour or so, the matte effect is gone and the powder easily comes off. I really loved the packaging and the puff. To me, the puff was the best thing in this product. It is the best puff I have ever seen or used. I liked this product because it looked really pretty in my vanity case and in my handbag.
3/5 (I have a soft side for Bourjois products!)
Whether I would recommend this product again:
I will not be repurchasing this product as I did not like it that much so I will not recommend it. I rated it a 3 out of 5 because it is somewhat more decent compared to some of the more popular products I have tried. Nevertheless, this is not the perfect one for me and hence I would suggest you to try it out before committing to it.
