ROSE WATER AND GLYCERINE
Glycerine has been used for many years now to help soften the skin. Many cosmetic companies use glycerine in their products so that the skin can become softer and supple. Mix equal quantities of rose water and glycerine and rub them all over your heels and feet and leave it on for a few hours or apply this overnight for best results.
Rinse it off the next day with lukewarm water. Do this every day for best results. Vitamins from the rose water mixed with the softening abilities of glycerine will make your cracked heels disappear soon.
PARAFFIN WAX AND OIL
If your heels are in a very bad condition and require immediate relief, this is the best homemade remedy available to provide quick relief. To make this, take a small quantity of paraffin wax and mix it with coconut and mustard oil. Heat the mixture until the wax melts completely and allow it to cool down to a room temperature. Take generous amounts and massage this gently on to the effected/affected areas. For best results, apply this overnight and wash off the next day with lukewarm water. Do this every day and the cracked heels will improve immensely.
MILK, HONEY AND ORANGE JUICE
Take ½ a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice and 2 tablespoons of milk and add it to a heated cup of honey so that the mixture spreads well. Stir well until the mixture is properly blended in together. Cover the cracked heels and to the dry patches on your feet and let it soak up all its goodness for an hour or so. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
For best results, apply this mixture on your feet two times every day. The moisturizing properties of honey and milk helps heal and relieve the cracked heels while the vitamins from the orange juice are an added bonus of nourishment and acidity.
Besides all this, you can also soak your feet in some warm water everyday to deeply cleanse it and pull out all the impurities sticking to the skin which ultimately leads to cracked heels. You can add lemon juice or other mild moisturizing soaps in the water so that it deeply moisturizes and hydrates your feet, preventing any dryness which are a major cause of cracked heels. It is very important to maintain your feet properly every day by moisturizing it otherwise lack of moisture and hygiene will lead to itchiness, redness, dryness and ultimately painful cracked heels.
