Himalaya Herbals Cocoa Butter Intensive body lotion Review
Winters are somewhat here not completely. But i have started loading my skin with body lotions. Precisely heavy body lotions. After being done with Soap and Glory Daily Smooth body butter i am here with another body lotion from the house of Himalaya.
Now, this is my first body lotion from the house of Himalaya. And last year i loved the cocoa butter range of Vaseline. It just smells yummm and stays longer. So, i was crazy about the cocoa lotions. And without second thoughts i bought this Himalaya Herbals Cocoa Butter Intensive Body lotion. Read on to know if the product is worth buying or not.
Product description –
“A daily-use, intense moisturizer, with a luxurious blend of nourishing and deep penetrating natural ingredients that helps repair, nourish, soften and smoothen dry skin.
Cocoa butter intensely moisturizes, softens and improves skin texture, and Wheatgerm Oil, a rich source of Natural Vitamin E, nourishes and boosts the skin’s elasticity. Olive Oil and Grape Seed Oil help in repair and regeneration, restoring healthy skin with a long lasting glow”
Rs.250 for 400 ml.
Directions to use:
Squeeze out the lotion from the bottle. Take a bit of lotion on your palms and rub it. Now, apply the lotion on all exposed parts of your body. Apply on hands, legs etc.
Himalaya body lotion comes in a white big rectangular box which has a green screw cap on top of it. The green screw cap has a big hole in the middle. Once you squeeze the bottle the lotion comes out. The packaging has details written on the body. But what i don’t like about the packaging is that the opening becomes messy after some time. Some part of the lotion gets stucked up in the opening itself which gives an untidy look.
The texture of the lotion is thick and white in colour. It is not creamy i must say but rather it is sticky. So, in case you are planning to go outdoors after applying this lotion, make sure to apply with a lighter hand. And i suggest to wear your outdoor clothes after a while else you might just end up making your clothes sticky.

My experience with Himalaya Herbals Cocoa Butter Intensive body lotion
The first day when i applied this lotion it made my skin very greasy and sticky. i had to sit in AC for some time to make the stickiness go away. So, first word of caution to use it in a little amount.
But no doubt this lotion keeps skin soft and moisturised for a longer time. Even extremely dry skinned girls like me can trust on this.
Whether i would recommend this to others –
Yes, for sure. This is a must buy for dry harsh winters.
