Lakme P166 Enrich Satin Lipstick Reviews
Did you hear of the new launch by Lakme? Yeah, Lakme recently introduced 10 new lip shades to its old range of enrich satin lipsticks. All of us own one lipstick from the Enrich satin range, don’t we? This range has been around for quite some years. I wish they had launched a few red lipsticks too. But all the 10 shades belong to pink family.
Lakme has launched 10 new shades in its satin lipsticks. These shades are beautiful and inexpensive. Perfect for vibrant pout. They are enriched with Olive oil and Vitamin E.
Directions for use:
Apply it directly or with the help of a lip brush like you would apply any other lipstick. Starting from the cupid bow, towards the edges of the lips.
Product price and quantity:
Rs 260/- for 4.3 g
Previously these range had a dull purple packaging, which is now revamped with a chic and trendy packaging. It is a transparent lipstick stick of plastic. The cap shuts with a click and at the bottom of the lipstick is mentioned the shade code.
The texture is silky smooth and creamy. It glides finely over the lips and keeps the lips moisturized for long hours. This lipstick gives a glossy effect to the lips and the color comes on the lips in the very first swipe.

My experience with Lakme P166 Enrich Satin lipstick:
I am always excited to try out new products. I was excited to know about this launch and I rushed to the store to try and buy a shade. And getting a lipstick at this price, I got a little greedy and bought it even though I din like it too much.
P166 is a bright pink color. I personally feel it to be very loud and bright. P166 is a fun shade. Pink lipsticks are much of a trend this summer. And a bright shade like this is a statement. Although, I personally feel that it’s too bright to suit dark beauties.
The stay power of this lipstick is around 3 to 4 hours. The texture is very creamy and therefore it tends to transfer initially. I apply a little foundation with a brush over the lipstick to suppress the creamy texture and lighten the shade. The lipstick is very tender and may break if pressure is applied. I did break mine a little from the base.
I also noticed that the lipstick gathers around the lip line which is a turn down. I don’t like staining the straw and glasses and so I don’t use it when I have to go for dinner and lunch dates. Also, the lipstick feels a little sticky to me. Otherwise, it’s a nice, inexpensive lipstick.
I rate it 7 out of 10 for its low price tag, fine texture and nice color pigmentation.
Whether I recommend this product or not?
Yes, if you like bright shades and are ok with its transferability, go ahead and purchase it. Not otherwise.
