NYX Eye/Eyebrow Pencil Reviews #906 argent
Parties are something that we all love to do, isn’t it? I am not a party animal but I do party now and then and a party look has to be full of bling. I love shimmery things and a glowing makeup is such a treat to eyes. Today I’m going to review one such product that will give your eyes the attention that it deserves.
NYX Eye/eyebrow pencil is a slim, trim but never prim eye liner. There are many entrancing shades available in this range. The texture being creamy, it claims to be bleed-proof.
Direction for use:
I’m not sure how to use this shade for eyebrow, but for eyes, clean your eyes and then draw a line over the lash line with the eye pencil. One can also use it on the bottom lash line.
4 years from manufacturing
Product price and quantity:
INR 295 for 1 g
It is a normal wood pencil with a tight fitting cap. It’s not a retractable pencil and therefore has to be sharpened once the nib goes blunt. The bottom of the pencil suggests the shade color.
The texture of this pencil is creamy which makes the application easy and doesn’t irritate eyes or tug them. It has a creaseless finish along with fine shimmery finish.

My experience with NYX eye/eyebrow pencil 906 argent:
NYX eye/eyebrow pencil has a traditional kind of packaging wherein one has to sharpen the pencil for sharp lead. Due to this, a lot of product wastage is caused which is a sad part. It is a wood based pencil and therefore is light in weight which makes it easy to carry around.
The shade ‘argent’ is a fine shimmery silver color. It has a subtle glow finish to it which makes the eyes look wide open. It brightens up the face and eyes and fetches all the attention to the eyes. The shade is buildable and one can decide the number of application needed based on how much intensity of the color is wanted.
The texture is dream-like, smooth and velvety. It glides on the eyes way too easily without even tugging or pulling eyes. But the biggest turn down is that this eye pencil isn’t smudge-proof, which also decreases it wear time.
The pencil says eye and eyebrow pencil; however I’m suspicious of its use for eyebrows. The eye pencil stays on for some 3-4 hours after which it starts vanishing. And if you keep rubbing eyes, the color will be gone. I use a makeup remover to get the product off my eyes even if it has vanished, because the very tiny shimmer still stays on.
Overall, it’s a nice eye pencil that one can own to try out fun makeup.
I will rate it 7 out of 10 considering the pros and cons of this eye pencil.
Would I recommend this product again?
If you do not own a color like this, yes I do recommend it to people who like experimenting with different shades.
