Seven Heavens Lipstick Shade 26 Reviews
Hey ladies, I am back with another review for today about a lipstick from an Indigenous brand called 7 Heavens. I recently, grabbed this one for my mother. This one has a shade number #26, which happens to be a Deep Maroon colour and I guess, one of the all time favorite shades of Indian moms. Probably, because Maroon flaunts the Wheatish to dusky Indian skin tones really well. I have also spotted Deepika Padukone flaunting Maroon lips with such a beauty at various Award functions.. That gave me a confidence to sport Maroon lip colour with a couple of my own outfits!!
If you really want to wear a Maroon lipstick, it is really important to keep the rest of your makeup really subtle. Such, deep shades are better avoided during day time as they look quite dramatic. With those two quick makeup tips, let us straight move to our product review now..
There are no claims mentioned on the lipstick case.
Like most other lipsticks, the packaging of this lipstick is made in plastic. The colour of case is black with a matte finish. There is no special locking arrangement for the cap to close. Honestly, at this price, I did not expect any, either. The cap does not budge, as such. It has a twist up format like routine. There is a transparent, plastic cut out in the Black cap which allows you to have an idea of the shade of the lipstick bullet before buying.
It has enough moisture content for a smooth application. Although, I cannot call the texture creamy or buttery it is not at all disappointing and is quite comfortable to apply without tugging on lips. It us light weight in texture and is not sticky, at all. So, pretty good texture wise.
Pros of Seven heavens lipstick shade 26
- Maroon colour does suit almost all Indian skin tones really well
- The cap does not keep opening
- Product is travel friendly
- Texture is moisturizing enough to lips
- Easy to apply over lips as it glides easily
- It does not flake
- Non sticky & light weight to wear
- Hydrates lips well so; you might not need a separate lip balm
- Finish is semi matte
Cons of Seven heavens lipstick shade 26
- Being a dark Maroon shade, it is not easy to take off with regular face wash.. I Nerd a cleansing milk to get rid of it totally
- Fades within an hour or so of application
- Product claims & Ingredients are not mentioned on the packaging
- It needs frequent touch-ups
- Settles into lines
- Bleeds in summers
- No SPF content
My experience with Seven heavens lipstick shade 26
Overall, for the price, this lipstick from 7 Heavans seems good enough. This shade brightens the Wheatish complexion of Indian ladies, quite well. It covers pigmented lips nicely and also sufficiently, moisturizes them. It would glide in easily on lips & Is very comfortable to wear due to non sticky texture.
You need to set it properly to enhance its staying power otherwise, it keeps fading in every one to one and a half hour. Personally, I like the products to have a detailed ingredient list. It needs to be removed with baby oil or cleansing milk since, it settles into lines.

Whether I would recommend this product again?
Actually, it did not perform that bad so, I might pick up a shade or two from them fir occasional use. Touch ups remain an issue but I can live with that!
