Streetwear Color Rich Kajal Reviews
How is your vacation time moving? I so wanted to go for a mini vacation with my family but due to internships and all I couldn’t make it. Anyway, do tell me where you are heading this summer in the comment box below. Getting back to the review, after Elle 18 Kajal which was a disappointment I bought one more kajal from a local store and it was the Streetwear Kajal. Streetwear is a title brand by Revlon. Streetwear is more popular amongst the college going girls and is known as a budget friendly brand. Streetwear offers a range of products from lip products, nail products to foundations and eye products. Let’s see the details of this inexpensive Kajal.
It is designed for fashionable women. ‘Color Rich’ combo of a kajal with sharpener from Street Wear will help you define eyes in the most effective manner and make your eyes shine with beauty. A must-have in your make-up kit, this combo will help you get a perfect party look. Color Rich Chasmic Kajal glides on smoothly and feels soft on the eyes making it easy to apply for a perfect finish. The camphor and castor oil blends together to cool and soothe the eyes.
Product price and quantity:
Rs 99 for 2.5g+ one sharpener
The kajal is a thick sharpenable pencil and comes packed in an outer cardboard packaging along with a sharpener. The cardboard is attractive with a picture of a lady. The pencil and the kajal tip both are thick and therefore a very fine line of it on the eye is difficult to master.
The texture of the kajal is fine and doesn’t hurt the eyes. Glides easily without tugging. However, the pigmentation is poor and so multiple swipes are required.
Pros of Streetwear Color Rich Kajal:
- Attractive packaging
- Sharpener is included
- Not heavy on pockets
- Easily available
- Doesn’t hurt or irritate eyes
- Average stay power
- Long shelf life
- A good option for beginners
Cons of Streetwear Color Rich Kajal:
- Product wastage due to sharpening process
- Poor pigmentation
- Thick tip which makes it difficult to master fine line of kajal on eyes
- Multiple swipes are required and the shade is a little grayish black
My experience with Streetwear Color Rich Kajal:
I quite much liked the packaging. For the price that this kajal is offered at, I feel the product does justice to the price. Now-a-days even nail paints cost 100 bucks each and getting a kajal with a sharpener does seem like a steal deal.
I use this kajal on waterline and found no irritation or hurting to my eyes. I like thin fine kajal line on my waterline but due to the thick tip of this kajal, it’s difficult to obtain it. This kajal is smudge-proof; it stays intact for quite some hours. But the pigmentation is very poor; one swipe is not enough at all.
The removal of this kajal is pretty easy and mess-free. It wears off easily with any normal makeup remover. The texture of the kajal is creamy and so application is not at all an issue. The shade of this kajal is not really black but a little on the grey scale. The kajal smells of camphor which I like.
I will rate it 6 out of 10.
Will I recommend it?
If you are on tight budget and yet want to buy a kajal then yes, give it a try. Also for beginners, this kajal makes a good choice.
