The Body Shop Born Lippy Stick Lip Balm Plum Reviews
Hey all you beautiful ladies!
How is life on your side? Mine is going great ever since I’ve been writing for Makeupera. It’s such a fun job to do. Every time I have any free time in my day, I flip open my laptop and review a few of the many products that I own and think would help you make a purchase decision and save your money otherwise. Anyway, today I’m reviewing a product from The Body Shop which I absolutely love. So would you know from the pictures as the balm is about to get over. Let us get into its details now.
This cult lip balm comes in a stick format. Gives a pop of color, moisture and a soft shine to lips.
- It conditions and moisturizes the lips
- Contains a plum tint
- Gives subtle shine
- Comes in fruity plum flavor
Directions for use:
Use directly on bare lips as you would use any other lip balm. Re-apply whenever needed all through the day. It can be worn under a lipstick too.
Product price and quantity:
INR 395 for 5 gm
The packaging is irresistible. It’s a cute, colorful stick. The cap that shuts with a click is transparent with product name printed on it and a little design saying ‘wow’. It is a twister stick and at the top of the cap is written The Body Shop. Overall, I’m quite impressed with the packaging department.
The texture is creamy and smooth. It easily glides over the lips. It gives a hint of color to lips which I prefer more than the sheer lip balms. The formula is non-sticky, although if over coated way too many times, you may feel the lips to get a little chappy. It is a shimmer less balm with a hint of color.
The ingredients list is missing.

My experience with The Body Shop born lippy stick plum lip balm:
As soon as I saw this cute lip balm at The Body Shop counter, I made a purchase. TBS never fails to surprise me with its amazing products. I’m more than happy to have bought this and am sure to purchase one more soon.
I purchased the balm in plum flavor. The balm stick is plum in color much like black current shade. Its packaging and smell are something, no girl can ignore or resist. The plum smell is strong but not very overpowering so it won’t bother you much. The stick looks dark in color but it turns out to be a sheer shade with a hint of pink color when applied.
This lip balm gives a subtle shine to my lips and keeps them moisturized. I always carry this mini balm in my bag. It stays on for smooth 3 hours after which the lips will start getting dry again but a re-application helps.
Overall, it’s an amazing lip balm and I love it way too much.
I rate it 9 out of 10
Would I recommend this product again?
Yes, I surely recommend it to all. It’s a perfect lip care product one requires, although it doesn’t have SPF protection so if you need that you can try your hands on some other product, otherwise this is by far the best lip balm I have tried.
