The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream Review
Hope my last review on The Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying Moisturizing Cream was useful.
Well today the product that I have picked for review is The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream. Since eyes are a delicate part of the body, even little strain and stress is easily reflected on the eyes. They generally tend to become swelled, develop puffiness and wrinkles under them.
Also, the skin on our face is delicate the most around the eyes. That’s why the signs of age appear first near the eyes. To top it all the use of laptops, cell phones, etc have made it even more difficult for the eyes to stay in good shape.
At Body Shop, I found this Vitamin E cream which claims to correct dark circles…
It is a moisturizing Vitamin E eye cream which helps in protecting the skin near the eye which is delicate. It reduces puffiness, fine-lines and dark-circles, making the skin smooth and soft. It has moisturizing Rose Hip Oil and Shea Butter.
Direction for Use
Just take a small quantity on your finger tips and pat it gently around your eyes. Don’t drag the skin as it might result in the formation of fine lines. Apply it twice a day for better results. In case it goes into the eyes, wash it with cold water.
Price & Quantity
Rs 995 for 15 ml. The quantity is good and would easily last for 2-3 months.
It is suitable for all skin types.
It comes in an attractive dull peach colored squeezy tube. It has got a white color cap and is quite sturdy. It weighs less than a pencil, so you can carry it anywhere you want.
The texture of the cream is thick and very smooth on touching. But, the fragrance is not that great.

- Gives a very sticky feeling
- Does not gets absorbed in the skin easily
My Experience with The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream
Since I work a lot on laptop, I have started developing dark circles. So, I thought using this cream would help my dark circles. I use it on a regular basis and they seem to have faded but even after using it for more than a month now, they have not gone completely.
It also claims to offer hydration to the skin and it lives up to this claim. It does hydrate the skin near the eyes. But, it does absolutely nothing for fine-lines and wrinkles.
It is good for people who need to hydrate their skin near the eyes. I don’t think I’ll go for it again. I bought it because the salesperson at The Body Shop recommended it for my dark circles.
So, in all I didn’t really realize the worth of money I spent on it.
Whether I would recommend this product again:
No. I mean if someone wants to try it on his or her own risk then it’s their wish. But, according to me it is not worth the price it comes at. I don’t know why it is so because most of the products by The Body Shop are good. But, I was not so satisfied with this one.
